"WHY I ALMOST CRIED" - This Confession of Uyo Writer Will Baffle You

Popular contemporary writer took to his Facebook page to narrate what he went through during his routine house to house preaching in Uyo.

Below is what he wrote
In the early hours of today, I embarked on a house to house preaching work alongside with our fellow witnesses. But guess what happened?
As I knocked on a door along Ebong Essien Street in Uyo, a certain young man (who later identified himself as Mr Maurice who came for a visit) came out. With my warm smile, I greeted him and introduced myself as Edikan Ekanem, he interrupted me and reacted "Did you say Edikan Ekanem, did I hear you well?"
When I reaffirmed my introduction, he asked whether i am the writer who wrote an article and news Commentary (read on AKBC weeks ago) on how Nigerian constitution influences Blood transfusion and I said yes, "to God be the glory" he added while I was stunned.
The encomiums he poured on me was unimaginable, in fact I was thrown amok, I became shy. As a medical practitioner that he said he is, the commentary was not only apt but a timely answer to his prayer and of his counterparts. He further stated how the commentary has curbed many disputes and save lives.
I almost cried.
Our preaching work was vindicated and what transpired between us made the kingdom good news we shared appealing to them all and Jehovah's name was glorified. I went out with great joy.
To Jehovah I return the glory as the giver and epitome of wisdom, he made all this happen.
Am not elated that I have scored any legal or academic goal nor that I have achieved anything exceptional if I have achieved anything at all, but am that am vindicated, my effort is not in vain, and that my little effort for humanity has affected the society for good.
To those who mocked and attacked me, they've been put to shame, they are dump founded. Thank God I did not give up in writing.
We do not come online for showmanship or to showcase our intelligence, am not a genus, we struggle to learn and comprehend but we can't hold back what will be beneficial to the society.
Am not posting this to impress anyone or to be praised but to encourage "you" that think you can't succeed in your endeavors.
All you need to achieve what seems to be impossible to humans is hard work, humility, sacrifice, determination ,optimism coupled with heartfelt prayers to Jehovah and never underestimate or undermine yourself and your potentials, we can all make it.
Thanks to Harrison Essien, Ekemini Simon, Inibehe Effiong, Mary Michael, Patience Bassey , Prince Bassey , Amb Enwongo-Abasi Francis , Iddy Brown, Uwakmfon Dan, Oga Leo Leo Umana and all others I can't mention by name who are always there for me in writing, Jehovah will sincerely bless you all, your support took me here.
Everyone has the power for greatness, not for fame but greatness, because greatness is determined by service. - Martin Luther King Jr.
It can only get better, the future is brighter.
