The youths of Nung Atai Ube ward 1 have concluded their plans to disrupt the December 2nd local government polls over the substitution of Mr Edet Ukpong the authentic winner of the councillorship seat with 219 against 95 votes of miss patience Ebrene.
This is contained in a save our soul message sent to the leader of the party, Mr Udom Emmanuel and signed by the youth leaders of Ebighi Edu,Ebighi Village,Akiba Obo,Nda,Ikot Ema Antai,Ikot Okokon Village,Ikot Iquo,Ikot Ukpong and strongly endorsed by Commrade Bassey Iniobong,the president amalgamated Okobo youth leaders council.
According to them "we have looked with dismay ,the undemocratic imposition and robbery of the winner of the PDP councillorship primary seat of last September Mr Edet Ukpong and was being replaced with the loser miss patience Ebrene" they however, condemned in strong terms what they described as broad day light robbery by the deputy speaker, princess Felicia Bassey claiming to act on the governor's wife instruction.
Consequently, the youths have vowed to delivered the APC candidate if the stolen mandate was no reverted.
