NYSC Agrees To NANS' Demand, Slashes Online Registration Fee To N2500

After series of discussions with the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, the management has agreed to NANS'
demand to further slash the online registration fee for prospective corp members who chose to process their mobilization online rather than the traditional institution based processing.
NANS President, Comr. Aruna Kadiri had proposed a further slash of the online internet registration charges to N2500 from N3000. Starting from Batch B, the online registration charges will now be N2500, DG Kazaure confirmed.
The NANS intervention according to its President becomes necessary in view of the harsh economic realities in the country. The DG assured the NANS President that the National Youth Service Corps under his leadership is committed to giving priority to corp members' welfare.
He has also assured that the orientation course (camp) for Stream II Batch-A will begins Tuesday July 26th, 2017.
“Stream II Batch-A prospective corp members should get ready to hit their respective orientation camp 26th July,” he reiterated.
NANS President in his vote of thanks, commended
the DG for the good works which is aimed at sustaining the scheme and making it better. Lastly, he urged members to be good ambassadors
of their institutions and parents, assuring that NANS under his watch will continue to advocate for what's
in their best interest(s).
