Nollywood Actress and Producer Aniebiet Francis has thrown shed on music artistes in Akwa Ibom state who depend on the state government funds to get to the peak of their chosen career.
She satirized them when one frustrated music artist took to his social media handle to say that artists are invited to perform base of cabal.
The producer of the most sort after movie "The Final List" which was recently premiered on cable television stations across the country challenged their guts to bring to the fore their bitterness, she bore them with the fact that movie actors and actresses do not perform at government functions yet most of them are doing extremely well.
READ WHAT SHE WROTE BELOW;
The way these musician talk about their music career as if it is an Akwa Ibom State Government project is not only laughable but very shameful and irritating.
"If you are not in the cabal, you will not be invited to perform at government functions"
"I was offered 50k"
Excuse me!
How many downloads did your last track get?
If there was no Akwa Ibom State Government won't you people have successful music career?
Where were you when your kind were never allowed anywhere near state government events?
Is it because Governor Udom has thrown open the doors of government functions for indigenous artistes to perform?
I remember when Jeff Q invited me to join the Pop Culture Academy and review the entertainment industry in 2018. It was such an Herculean task to nominate songs for Top Ten Chat. Most of these songs majority of our artistes chun out are wack! These OAPs can't event give them airplay and you expect the state government to accommodate such. Is the state government a dump site?
How about movie actors that don't perform at government functions? Oh! those ones are not entertainers/Akwa Ibomites.
You people need to understand that PRIVILEGE IS NOT A RIGHT!
Take a chill pill on these wailings and rantings and use that energy to rebrand your personalities, get content for your songs and learn the art of making good music and performing on a big stage.
As usual, I am expecting some folks to wail on this post and I will not delete any of their comments because I love seeing people wail when I hit them with some bitter truth.
