League leaders, Akwa United who are undefeated in their last three matches welcome mid-table sitters, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi at the Goodwill Akpabio International Stadium this afternoon.
Wikki Tourists have not won nor drawn away from home this season stay 9th on the log.
The Promise Keepers with their recent stretch of Victory against Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United earlier in the week nicked a point at Nnewi against FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a midweek cracker.
In a related development, the management of Akwa United signed a season long agreement with Dana airlines on Friday to ferry its players to away matches in order to ease the burden of long distance trips by road. The agreement which is one of the traces of good things to come to the club is facilitated by the club chairman, Paul Bassey who has vowed to reposition the club.
Early last season, the club secured a sponsorship deal with a Lagos based sports kits manufacturers, Owu who supplied branded jerseys to the club, a deal which is in its second season.
