Akwa Ibom Labour Market Association endorse Senator OBA for 2019

An Association of unemployed youths under the aegis of Akwa Ibom Labour Market Association have risen in solidarity with their benefactor,  Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) representing the good people of Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo)  Senatorial District in the national Assembly that come 2019 they will collectively vote for a man they believe in - Senator Bassey Albert (OBA).

In a statement made available to the media in Uyo on Monday and signed by Ini E. Usanga and Mfon Ekpo , Chairman and Secretary respectively, the association says ''Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) has justified the mandate given him by the good people of Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District even in more than two years through robust legislative engagements, assisting many get employment and empowering his constituents as such are desirable indices that makes him deserve a second term come 2019.

According to the Association, mainly youths of equal gender who take up daily paid jobs as loaders, site services support among others noted ''We have watched keenly the strides recorded by the Senator and will like to add that such selfless representative are hard to come by and now that we have found him we should not let him go but be given another opportunity to  serve us''.

They queried ''How many of our politicians can bankroll an all school expense of 130 undergraduates from the senatorial District in various tertiary institutions in Nigeria from year one to graduation without complaining despite unnecessary distractions in the courts, he still does what he needs to do for his people?  How many of our Politicians can think of the common people, assist them get jobs like Senator OBA has done, how many of them can create opportunities for skills acquisition training alongside start up capital to trainees?

The statement adds ''A time has come we let go those sentiments known of selfish politicians and support a brand we have known over the years as a true blessing from God that the people  cannot  afford to miss.

The Association said ''Senator OBA is a rare gem, his humane disposition is a motivation in politics and we most tell them that we want to move forward as a people and see our Senatorial District grow''.

They also pointed out that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria clearly provides the freedom for our friend, Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) to aspire to represent his people as we will support him all the way and call on fellow constituents to continue to support the effective representation typical of Senator Bassey Albert.
