OBIO EDIENE IN IKONO LGA TO BENEFIT FROM MECHANIZED FARMING

The Office of the State Surveyor General discussed this during a courtesy call on the council Chairman, Barr. Ekemini Uba.
Barr. Uba expressed his appreciation to the State government stated that the project will create employment opportunities to the communities and Ikono people at large in line with the Dakkada philosophy of the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.
The Transition Committee Chairman, Stated that on the project realization, it will increase food supplies to communities in the State and neighboring States.

He also urged communities to cooperate with the government to ensure the realization of the project.

The Council boss also charged the communities to vote in Mr. Itoro Columba as the elected Chairman in Ikono as the project they are about to benefit from was initiated during Mr. Columba's tenure as the Caretaker Chairman.
