Atleast 27 persons have been reported killed and over 24 others injured when a gunman entered a church in southeast Texas, United State and started shooting.
It was gathered that the gunman after attacking the church, First Baptist, left and was chased by law enforcement officers who allegedly killed him in Guadalupe County.
A witness, who works as a cashier at a gas station across the street from the church, disclosed that she heard about 20 shots being fired in quick succession while a church service was underway around 11:30 a.m. local time.
Confirming death of the shooter, Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Robert Murphy, disclosed that the shooter was killed after a brief chase north into neighboring Guadalupe County.
