PDP has rejuvenated in Ikono with some party heavyweights assuring flawless and hinge free victory for the party in the forthcoming Local Government Election.
This came after the Local government council Chairman Barrister Ekemini Uba, who has performed tremendously well in his short stay in office, thanked the party faithfuls for turning up in good numbers to show solidarity for Hon. Itoro Columba, the immediate-past council Chairman who collected the party's Chairmanship flag at Uyo Township Stadium yesterday.

Ekemini Uba praised God for the success of the event that for see a hopeless future for the opposing parties in the State, he went on to assure that he will ensure that Itoro Columba emerge as the chairman in Ikono LGA.
Hon. Kenny Eka, a seasoned politician added that come 2nd December 2017, the good people of Ikono will not fail in returning Itoro Columba as the elected Chairman of Ikono LGA. He urge the people to subscribe to the vision of Deacon Udom Emmanuel, who thought it wise to initiate DAKKADA for the benefit of the youths and engage themselves in meaningful and gainful vices.
He reminded them to attend the free DAKKADA empowerment scheme going on in the local government council.
