Ikono Council Boss "Barr. Ekemini Uba" Takes the gospel of Udom Emmanuel to Nkwot Community.... As they Endorsed Udom, Akpabio for second term

The Month of November ushers in superfluous chances for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to record a landslide victory over opposing parties in the state in the forthcoming Local Government elections and in 2019, as it will host the largest crowd of party faithful in the state.

The people of Nkwot in Ikono Local government, showed their massive acceptance of the party in the region by honoring an invite yesterday 05, November by their son the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikono Barr. Ekemini Uba, a visionary and dedicated leader whose presence has brought peace and growth to Ikono.

Barr. Ekemini Uba hosted the youths of Nkwot in his residence at Ikot Nseyen to thank them for supporting the government of Deacon Udom Emmanuel, the executive governor of Akwa Ibom state, who he described in his words as the Messiah of the state that came at the right time to salvage the people of Akwa Ibom out of the decaying economy.

He went on to thank them for conducting themselves during the PDP local government election primaries, he urged all the contestants to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship in defeat, informing them that the party has taken steps to accommodate everyone.

The youth friendly Chairman, reminded the people about the ongoing free Dakkada empowerment scheme training that is going on in the local government council, he charged them to take up the opportunity offered by the government of Governor Udom Emmanuel and learn trade, as it is the future of our state.

The hardworking Transition Chairman moved a motion to return Governor Udom Emmanuel as the governor of the state and Senator Godswill Akpabio as the senator representing Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district in 2019, the mammoth crowd that gathered in his house all gave a standing ovation to that effect. They assured that come 2019 elections the people of Ikono will support and vote for PDP.

Hon. Anwangabasi Udofia, the counselorship flag bearer of PDP who spoke on behalf of all the contestants thank the leadership of the party for the hitch free primaries, he promised that when voted into office he will ensure that he renders selfless service to the people of Nkwot.
