Ikono Transition Chairman Barr Ekemini Uba plays host to students, as they pledge massive support for Governor Udom in 2019

The National Exco and University of Uyo chapter of National Association of Ikono Students Worldwide last week paid a courtesy visit to The Transition Chairman of Ikono Local Government Council, Barr. Ekemini Uba.

The students among other things, prayed for a platform to grow and an avenue to work closely with the council, they thank the Governor Deacon Udom Emmanuel, for the enabling environment to study, and pledged to massively support him from now till 2019, stressing that his 2019 return is a guarantee.

The students friendly chairman in his remarks charged the students to take their studies serious as they are the future hope of Ikono people. He insisted that they should all learn a skill in line with the DAKKADA initiative of the Akwa Ibom state government coming up at the local government council.
