Ikono 15 Jobless Youths: Enough of cheap blackmail on our Leader Macaire - By Inemesit Monday

It is saddening that 15 youths will go about sitting together to analyze a personal opinion of David Akpan Ntuk and yet failed to take cognizance of the fact that the (24) paragraphs letter never had the name of the Honourable Commissioner for Works; Ephraim Inyang mentioned in part or in full. Meanwhile, the name of the commissioner formed part of the heading of imaginary conflict these fellows are anticipating in the system.

David Akpan Ntuk in his letter was only to strengthen the P.D.P in the area but we know of your plans to become relevant in the tenure of Itoro Columba as the Council Boss through your usual amnesty style. This fictitious  youths never sit together not to talk of using the same biro pen to sign a document except for a mischievous and misleading purpose as the just purblished one.

It is often said that excellence is in simple details as I urge you all to please go back and read through the publication over and over again for proper digestion as I believe at that point you will come out sorry as your publication was quite extraneous and a one of war igniting. If one is being paid to paint others in bad light I believe the Governor and his cabinet members shouldn't have formed part of it. What is the rational for the "Lagos Returnees"? who doesn't travel, who doesn't come back home?

In paragraph (14) you mentioned the Governor being favourably disposed to supporting Itoro Columba to become the chairman, the same Itoro Columba who is a product of zoning? The same Itoro that was voted by delegates or did the Governor form part? I will beg you desist from this method and let's unite together to succeed in the task ahead.

If the publication was insulting to the Hon.commissioner for Women Affairs, she particularly heads all the women in the state, she's from Ini L G.A, I strongly believe there are women groups all over who would respond diligently and youth Leaders from Ini wouldn't have hid their weapons for a sister to be castigated. But, in your case, you've come together to shoot a bird from the bag.

It is my intention to quote this scripture PASSAGE from the Holy Book; Ezekiel 22:12

"There are hired murderers, loan racketeers, and extortioners everywhere! says the Sovereign Lord."

The same Holy Book in Psalm 112 : 5 SAYS

"All goes well for those who are generous, who lend freely and conduct their business fairly."

We can see those in the former scripture attacking those in the later. This can best be described as the fulfillment of the word of God!

Why try to fight a mountain that has no tendency of  crumbling? Most persons today claim to be Youth Leaders, this is merely a mirage and a facade as we are yet to see contributions to justify same.

The "article" from David Ntuk had nothing to do with Emmanuel Ukpong-udo, as it was signed in personal capacity and that of his office. It aired his opinion over a particular issue. Yet it pleases you all to bring an innocent man into it, labeling him a character assassin IN A CHARACTER ASSASINATING PUBLICATION,  a highly reputable man whose hard work has paid off. I URGE YOU to bring any political publication ever made by him to substantiate your claims and to please redirect your arrows to the necessary target and desist from distracting Emmanuel Ukpong -Udo from his God's called purpose.

I personally appreciate your God's given conscience for mentioning Political Leaders from Different L.G.A's yet leave Ikono vacant because of your appreciation of Emmanuel Ukpong - Udo as one. It's a clear sign that you can't sell your conscience in to to. Dont forget even David's brothers practically fought him.If Obong Emmanuel Ukpong - Udo woke at about 6a.m in the morning and screamed from his balcony ; I am the "Political Leader" of Ikono! His leadership would have ended in his household as they are also of  Ikono extraction. I believe we wouldn't have been aware of such a claim neither would it be obvious to the blind and loud enough to deaf ears. I will advise you fifteen UNINFORMED youths who are out to distract our just nominated Chairman and disrupt political activities to go back to your Masters and get proper guidance on the issue of EMMANUEL UKPONG-UDO'S emergence as the Political Leader of Ikono as I well know they wouldn't be adamant to the substantial fact. In THREE words "THEY PROCLAIMED HIM".

Today we are busy comparing political leaders like that of Essien Udim,Eket,Ini etc. to that of Ikono, have you forgotten that today in this contemporary world, some persons who are married still sign documents as proud Dakkada ambassadors only in Ikono L.G.A meanwhile the M.D of Payporte is A younger fellow. Why not run a race of self development in this 21st century world than allow yourself to be used as we bear a different political history from that of those areas. Keep a good history for your children please as God blessings follows a man who leaves good things for his children.

Am happy that today we plan to exceed the 40,000 votes that was gained through the Governor's capacity building as the S.S.G and Macaire's "House to House Campaign" and the contributions of all others. We are sure going to exceed as Macaire continues a dedicated and committed lover of the P.D.P and the government of Akwa Ibom State.

I wish to point out personally that we've never experienced dark days in our political history as claimed. Obong Victor Attah was never bad with us, Senator Godswill Akpabio kept to all his promises and did even more, Udom Emmanuel deserves our right thumb and more for sustainable development in the area.

In this light, I believe it's time we look at the future and stop praise singing, by involving ourselves in self development  by adopting proactive measure in trying to be in the forefront of developing the society ourselves instead of staying back and waiting to sing praises. The truth remains, this men have moved, they pass through this stage and where never like the fifteen (15) of you. Stop limiting yourselves to irritating purposes.

Oh self acclaimed youth leaders! The same Ephraim Inyang that graced his inauguration as the Political Leader that made your slave masters call Ephraim many names is now relevant to your political GIBBERISH. Have you asked yourselves where your utterances is taking you to? Why not leave him to concentrate in his State called duty?

Dear Sir Ephraim Inyang, take Proverbs 17: 17 "a friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need."

Keep being a brother to a brother and a friend to a friend. Leave the manipulated 15 devices of the wicked.

To the 15 youths, I bring to your notice that; Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-udo is not a political office holder and as such holds no position in trust for you that gives you permission to rape his reputation and relationship with friends and brothers limb to limb.

You have people you have elected to offices of trust which have never been accountable in any way to you, yet you come to interfere with an enterprising young man, still he continues in his unending human empowerment programs which has been a reason for most political office holders to promise our people a long term empowerment which at the moment is far from our needs as hatred for good things has eaten deep into most people. From your reasoning (15 youths), I believe our Leaders, with plans for empowerment programmes will proceed to imbibing into you a culture of self development (human development) in general as your response is a clear cut disgrace to the people of the area.

I say if we start constructive criticism and abandon praise singing and dehumanization of people, I promise we'll be stronger and better. We then will chase a better side of history by taking control of our sphere of influence. We can't keep doing things the same way and expect different results.

God bless you all.
