Akwa Ibom state governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel's Monetary Promise To The Super Eagles triggered the team to victory over Cameroon.... The much needed victory achieved via Gov. Udom's promise. The eagles besmirched the Cameroonian boys at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium to stand a better chance of appearing in Russia 2018.
The governor predicted 2:1 in favour of Super Eagles yesterday, but the team stubbornly
went ahead to produce superfluous result contrary to what the hardworking governor of
Akwa Ibom state expected to give out after the game.
Odiong Ighalo who plays his football in China opened scoring through his Chinese base
counterpart Mikel Obi's assist. Mikel Obi later made it two before the centre referee
ended the game for a half time.
The indomitable lions couldn't get closer to the goal Keeper Ikechuchwu Ezenwa who
started his first game with the senior boys as they met a stiff defence line manned by
Troost Ekong and Leon Balogun.
After the half time Ighalo was substituted for Kelechi Ihenacho, Nigeria's third goal was
scored by Victor Moses who showcased a five star performance to challenge Moses
Samuel and Mikel Obi for the man of the match award. The coach also substituted
Mikel and Victor Moses to introduce fresh legs to the team. Kelechi Ihenacho ball binge
gave Nigeria the fourth goal to send Governor Emmanuel to the bank for more money.
The ferrocious Cameroonian team couldn't withstand the audacious super Eagles display
today, which seems to send their porous defence line to their inyangas, all thanks to God almighty and Governor Udom Emmanuel for the dakkada spirit he enchanted into the eagles team and it worked
