LOCAL GOVT POLLS: 8 KINDS OF ASPIRANTS YOU MUST NOT SUPPORT

(1) A GLUTTON/CHAIN SMOKER: Don't support a Glutton, chain smoker - I'm not judging smokers but you can't afford a chairman that spends most of his hours smoking and drinking with people, when will he think and work? (They are not organized people, from experience in my LGA)
(2) A DRUNK : Don't vote a drunk ( you don't wanna see your chairman in a public place drunk)

(3) PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS : Don't vote a Professional politician whose life cannot be identified with any career outside politics (they steal money like crazy for life after office)

(4) MANNERLESS WOMANIZER : Don't vote a serial and publicly known
womanizer - accepted most politicians do it, but some do it with total disgust and are public disgrace (if u vote them, when they win, they will live in hotels)

(5) POOR PERFORMER: If he or she has a record of poor performance in any former capacity especially transition committee, don't support him/her (Because only fools do the same thing over and over again, but expect different results)

(6)ARROGANT FELLOW: Don't support a proud and arrogant fellow who feels larger than life (they don't usually take advice nor change their decisions)

(7) IMPOSED/ILLEGITIMATE CANDIDATE: Don't support an imposed candidate, who does not enjoy legitimacy, acceptance and mass support of his people, but rather banks on the powers of godfathers outside the domain he wants to lead.
If he or she relies on godfathers/godmothers from other LGA don't vote (Because if he or she wins, he/she will owe you no loyalty not even accountable to you, but to the power that installed him or her)

(8) UNEDUCATED /UNCIVILISED: Don't support an unexposed, uncivilized local champion. This is ICT age and 21st century, a Local Government chairperson of today suppose to be one who can think, articulate advanced issues, and understand economics /administration. Not speaking cut and join English, and using signatures to just sign for money.

Let's think development, lets think leadership, let's think good governance. .... Cheers.
