His excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel is a treasure to the people of Akwa Ibom
State who have broken the jinx, transformed the State from a civil service state to an
Industrialized State where Industries floods everywhere , making means of livelihood
abound for it people thereby shifting the mentality of it indigenes away from Civil
Service as the only means of white collar job where the reverse is being witnessed in
Lagos State, Rivers State, Kano State, etc.
Deacon Udom Emmanuel, a seasoned technocrat who have consolidated on the giant
strides of the past administration in the State whose focus was centered on
infrastructural revolution where various degrees of world class structures were put in
place, which enabled Akwa Ibom State to have a flyover for the first time, also the nest
of champions where people all over the world now troop in for football competition, the
Ibom e-Library, the Tropicana, the largest round about in Africa at Ibesikpo, the
Lemeridien and golf resort, the 3 star hotel, Ibom Specialist Hospital, Ikot Ekpene plaza,
first in Africa underground drainage, state of the Art banquet hall, Terminal of Akwa
Ibom State Airport, Control tower at the Ibom Int'l Airport, Ibom Power plant, a first
class Government lodge while his Excellency, Governor Udom, the Mr. Industrialization
is focused on transforming the State into an Industrial hub of the Nation, having set the
foundation for such by the immediate past administration.
Governor Udom Emmanuel inline with his five (5) points agenda, thus:
• Wealth Creation
• Employment generation
• Poverty alleviation
• Infrastructural consolidation
• Economic and Political Inclusion
Who to a greater extent has brought about a speedy departure from economic
dependent State to a viable and robust economy where in no distant time, when voted
into power for a second term come 2019, the State can survive with or without Federal
allocation as such was once witnessed by the then Lagos State Government who were
denied their Federal allocation for months but such was still thriving as a result of a
robust economy through numeral source of internally generated revenue within the State.
His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, a season technocrat has brought to bear his
wealth of experience in wealth creation, Employment generation, Poverty alleviation by
mapping out necessary measures towards establishing series of Industries in the State
despite series of opposing factors, thus:
• Metering factory
• Cassava processing factory
• Coconut Refinery
• Toothpick and Pencil Industry
• Syringe Industry
• Peacock paint
• Rice plantation
• refinery
• Cocoa plantation
• Tomatoes plantation and processing factory where hundreds of thousands are
presently engaged for sustainable means of livelihood, many have been taken off the
street to pave way for a reduced crime rate, peaceful and secured society for
development to thrive.
How then shall we not say Udom is Right?
