i’m Feeling Like A Footballer Again – Costa

Costa expresses his joy saying he is ‘feeling like a footballer again’ after making his first appearance for eight months on Wednesday night.

The former Chelsea striker scored on his second debut for Athletico.

He was brought in the 65th minute and after just five minutes scored the third goal, in a match where Costa and his teammates were 4-0 victors at Lleida in the Copa Del Rey.

He said “Now I am very happy because I feel like a footballer again,”

Costa who was sold back to his parent club from Chelsea feels good to score again.

“It is great for me to play for Atletico Madrid again.

The club is very important to me and I am very happy with this.

“I could not have asked for anything more on my second debut, to be back playing again and to have scored a goal is fantastic 

The 29-year-old had not played a competitive match since the FA Cup final for Chelsea in May last year.

Diego Simeone’s men welcomed him back to the club.
