Breaking News! *Crisis Erupts in Ibiaku Ntok Okpo, Ikono L.G.A masterminded by Hon Victor Udofia of AKHA* **Udofia's hired thugs burn down houses, destroy properties worth millions of Naira**

There is a palpable tension in Ikono as Hon Victor Udofia, member representing Ikono state constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly through his thugs are on the rampage as they release terror in ikono. This is suspected to be as a result of his rejection by stakeholders, youths and women of his ward 3 on saturday 13th Jan 2017 during the constituency  project commissioning by the Senate Minority Leader.

It could be recalled that, on Saturday, when the Senate minority leader visited mbiabong Ikon, a nearby village in ward 3 where Hon Victor Udofia comes from, there were total rejection songs and echoes on his 2019 ambition against victor udofia by his people to the consternation of the senate minority leader that they never wanted victor udofia in 2019  house of representatives  that he is a total waste and misrepresentation.

Apparently, irked by his constituents actions, victor udofia and his boys led by Sampson okorie paid some thugs and miscreants the sum of N150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand naira) to terrorize Ikono by burning people houses and destroying their properties.

One of their victims of today destruction includes the immediate past ward 3 chairman Apostle Okon Inyang whose house and proprieties are destroyed in total.


As at the time of this report, the crisis inflicted by victor udofia and Sampson okorie if not swiftly checked will degenerate into a full blown war.

We understand the Ikono DPO is on top of the matter as we request and appeal to the Governor Udom Emmanuel and other security agencies to intervene before it gets out of control.
