SATURDAY 13th January 2018, the people of Ikono Local government gibe Hon. Victor Udofia, Member Representing Ikono state constituency in Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, for his inability to deliver the dividend of democracy as he promised during his campaign in 2015.
They went ahead to lambaste the member representing Ikono and Ini at the Federal House of representatives, Hon. Iboro Ekanem for his below average performance and poor representation.
The youths who turned out in large numbers to receive the Senate minority leader, senator Godswill Akpabio who came to commission an ultra modern market at Obo Uduk market, and a solar powered borehole project with three kilometer reticulation radius at Mbiabong Ikon (1 ward 3) Ikono LGA as part of his constituency project, used the aura to appeal for a change of representative, requesting that Mr Emmanuel Ukpong-udo, should replace Hon. Iboro Ekanem, who they regard as a waste of precious slot. Warning Hon. Victor Udofia not to think of contesting any electoral position.
