Aks Government Assuages victims of Itu- Cross River Communal Clashes

Akwa Ibom State Government through the State Emergency Management Agency(SEMA) has donated relief materials for victims and families of communal clashes between the people of Itu in Akwa Ibom State and Cross River State. The relief materials include food items,beddings, fishing nets etc.

The Deputy Governor,mr Moses Ekpo who is the Chairman of SEMA in the State represented by the Director Administration in his office,Mrs Ekaette Ekanem made the presentation to the Paramount Ruler of Itu LGA,Edidem Edet Akpan Inyang in his Ayadehe palace.
The Paramount Ruler in his response appreciated the State Government for the interest ,love and support they have given to the affected people so far and promised that he will ensure the even distribution of the items to the affected persons in Mbiabo,Ayadehe, Itu and Oku Iboku clans in Itu Local Gove
