Tuesday, 14th November 2017, the conference of village head(MBOHO MME ETEIDUNG) ABAK CHAPTER, conferred the chieftaincy title of "UTUENIKANG ABAK" on the Transition Committee Chairman of Abak, Hon Barr Emmanuel Udosen Ph.D.
Conferring the title, the chairman of the conference, Amb Eteidung Ibanga noted that it is a reward for the selfless service which Barr.Udosen has done in office as Council Chairman that prompt the award.
They listed his achievements in office, and the greatest according to the royal fathers is the completion of the local government secretariat which was abandoned and left to decay for so many years.
The Royal Fathers decorated the council boss in a royal regalia, a royal traditional machete (akakang) was also presented to him, which signify in the annang land to clear the part for the progress of Abak in line with his new title.
